Horseshoer
Horseshoer A traditional horseshoer dated the late 19th Century, which belongs to Bursa region. Horseshoe means a piece of iron fit with the nail of draught animals such as orses, donkeys and bulls, according to the shape of their feet. It significantly supports to the energy that a horse spends on moving and balances it by distributing the pressure to the nails. Horseshoers are shops developed from forger workshops, where horseshoes are made or horseshoes are fitted with the horses, and horseshoe and nail care are provided.

Saddler
Saddler A traditional saddler belonging to Bursa region, which is dated the late 19th Century. ‘Saddle’ is a pad placed on laid on the back of domestic animals such as horses, donkeys or bulls, where load is tied down or boarded on it, of which skeleton is made of wood. The ‘Saddler’ means a man making or selling pads.

Cart & Coach Workshop
Cart & Coach Workshop The workshop on the alley was made by local masters in compliance with architectural features of their time. The workshop is filled with brick within the range of a wooden framework plastered with clay-chaff, with wooden horizontal and vertical shutter and dirt surface, of which roof is also covered with Turkish-style tiles. The tools in the workshop were bought from carter Mustafa Babik. Babik’s father and grandfather were also carters, and their fathers were also…

Saddler Shop
Saddler Shop A traditional saddler shop belonging to Bursa region, which is dated the late 19th Century. The shop was made by local masters in compliance with architectural features of their time. A saddler is a person making or selling horse draw-gears. Saddler shops means places where collars for horses; rattles, small bells, mat dressing, sarka for sheep; casque for horses; embellishments for domestic animals; and saddlebags and similar materials are made or sold.
